Tamil Nadu is well renowned for its temple towns and heritage sites, hill stations, waterfalls, national parks, local cuisine and the fabulous wildlife and scenic beauty.

Itinerary

Day Destinations Itinerary
1 Mumbai-Madurai On arrival at Madurai airport, you will be received by your driver and transferred to the hotel for your check–in. Later visit Alagar Koil, Palamuthirsolai Murugan temple and Thiruparamkundram. Overnight stay at Madurai.
2 Madurai to Trichy (approx 130 kms. – 3-4 hrs. drive) After breakfast visit Meenakshi Amman Koil and Thirumalai Nayak palace and then proceed to Trichy. En-route visit Viralaimalai. On arrival check in at hotel and relax. Later visit Srirangam temple, Thiruvanaikaval Sivan Koil. Overnight stay at Trichy.
3 Trichy to Tanjore (approx 65 kms. – 2-3 hrs. drive) Visit Vayalur Murugan temple and proceed to Tanjore. On arrival in Tanjore check in at hotel and relax. Later visit Brahadeshwarar Koil and Royal Palace complex. Overnight stay at Tanjore.
4 Tanjore to Pondicherry (approx 210 kms. – 6-7 hrs. drive) In morning proceed to Pondicherry. En-route visit Darasuram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram. On arrival at Pondicherry, check in at hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Pondicherry.
5 Pondicherry to Mahabalipuram (approx 90 kms. – 3-4 hrs. drive) After breakfast visit Aurobindo ashram and Auroville and proceed to Mahabalipuram. On arrival check in at hotel and relax. Later visit Five Rathas, Arjuna’s penance and Sea Shore temple. Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.
6 Mahabalipuram to Chennai via Kanchipuram (approx 140 kms. – 4-5 hrs. drive) In the morning after breakfast proceeds to Chennai en-route visit Ekambareshwarar temple, Kamakshi Amman temple at Kanchipuram. On arrival at Chennai check in at hotel and relax. Overnight stay at Chennai.
7 Chennai-Mumbai In morning after breakfast visit Parthasarathy temple, Kapaleeshwarar temple, St. George fort. After sightseeing you will be transferred to Chennai Airport to board return flight.
