Dear members,
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the historic city of Delhi for the 16th annual meeting of APAS. After the resounding success of the last APAS meeting held in Chengdu, China this year, I’m sure we can all look forward to another very fulfilling academic meet in 2015.
Delhi played host to the first meeting of the APAS in the year 2000 and then again in 2009. This is the third time that we will have the opportunity to host you in our beautiful city.
As always the vision of APAS remains the same- discussions, debates and deliberations of sound academic content, both from a combined international and national faculty- hoping to give you answers to many burning issues that we face in everyday clinical practice.
Apart from this academic feast, that we hope to have ready for you, the wonderful city of Delhi has lots to offer its visitors and guests. An ancient city with evidence of having been continuously inhabited since before the second millennium BC our city has grown to present stature, covering an area of 1,484 km2 (573 sq mi), of which 783 km2 (302 sq mi) is designated rural, and 700 km2 (270 sq mi) urban.
Today, it is a melting pot of cultures from all over India, offering everything the country has to offer in terms of history, art, culture, museums, ancient monuments and the quintessential cuisine.
I look forward to welcoming you to Delhi, our national capital in September 2015
Sincerely yours
Dr. Ashok Rajgopal |
